The sequel to Jazzmatazz, Guru’s sophomore album is another masterwork of jazz rap, a mixture of live playing from Donald Byrd, Branford Marsalis, and more, with the streetwise lyrics of Guru. The sequel doesn’t get as much love as the original, but it’s another must own for fans of the intersection between jazz and rap in the early ’90s.
