Legacystraps Trumpet Valve guard features a neoprene core that seals out dirt and moisture and attaches easily with velcro tabs. The soft outer fabric is comfortable to hold and the extra side flaps offer a level of protection and not available with other guards. Flaps can be easily tucked under or trimmed with sissors if you prefer a more tailored fit. Fabric thickness varies based on color and pattern with some being thicker than others. All guards should be removed regularly to clean your instrument and prevent foreign matter from becoming trapped under the guard. Silver horns should be cleaned more often to prevent tarnishing.
